Happy birthday, Ray Manzarek (of The Doors), born 1935.  On 2/12/66 The Rolling Stones 45 “19th Nervous Breakdown” charts at No. 2 in England.  On 2/12/72 Badfinger 45 “Day After Day” charts at No. 10 in England.           Happy birthday, Bill Laswell! (Born 1955).


Happy birthday, Peter Tork (of The Monkees), born 1946 and Happy birthday, Peter Gabriel! (Born 1950).


On 2/17/63 the Bobby Vee 45 “The Night Has A Thousand Eyes” charts at No. 3 in England.  On 2/15/64, the LP “Meet The Beatles” by The Beatles charted at No. 1 in the US.  On 2/15/69 Canned Heat 45 “Going Up The Country” charts at No. 19 in England.  On 2/17/73, the LP “The World Is A Ghetto” by War charts at No. 1 in the US.  Also on 2/17/73, the Faces 45 “Cindy Incidentally” charted at No. 2 in England.  2/14/81 Mike Bloomfield OD’s.  And on February 17th: Happy birthday, Fred Frith (of Henry Cow)!
